Dear Snow angels, I am reaching out on behalf of my mother, who is 81 years young and as of recently now the full-time caregiver for her husband. He recently had half of his lung removed and is also living with dementia. Our family lives in Durham, Mississauga, and Halifax, so we are unfortunately unable to be there daily to assist with snow removal. We have hired a service for the main driveway; however, she still needs help with areas the plow does not cover – including a safe path in the yard and back deck and stairs for their small dog, snow around parked vehicles, the stairs, and front porch.
