We have our single car laneway plowed but the plow leaves a cm or so of snow which can quickly turn to ice, due to them not being able to plow down to pavement. We usually remove the cm or so by hand if the forecast says colder weather may be coming, which turns the remaining snow to ice. Would not need to be done each time it snows if milder weather is forecasted.
We are looking for walkway shoveling help. We are older retired people with disabilities, and mobility issues. The city does our sidewalks but not our drive and walkways. I put a help request, but have not heard anything back. Regards TV

I see that nobody is showing up as near me. However I’m wondering if anyone would be willing to come to Victoria Harbour? I need my driveway and path to the house shovelled. I’m not able due to health issues. It is a two car width but may not be necessary to do both sides of it, if I’m not expecting any company. My snowblower may be an option to use. I don’t drive, but I do have PSW’s coming twice a week at the moment, possibly more. I have a cheap snowblower that can handle 1 – 2 feet of snow at most, but it doesn’t pull itself and I physically cannot push it, let alone barely walk in snow. I require at least space for 1 vehicle and a walking path to the door so the entire driveway does not need to be done, I know it’s huge and a lot to ask for, so as long as there is a safe walkway with 1 vehicle space, I will be very appreciative. ( I do have 3 cats, they are all a little sensitive to sound, so a head’s up is helpful to get them a little extra comfy, but not necessary, they have to learn sometime obviously ) Thank you!
I am 80 years old and have arthritis. I have had two knee replacements and one hip replacement and am booked for a second hip replacement in February. I do qualify for the city’s program to clear sidewalks and snowplow windrows for seniors but they have not done it yet today, more than 24 hours since this snowfall started! I would appreciate the help to clear my driveway and entrances to the front door and back door.
My partner is injured and we are stuck after the snow with car covered in snow. Could someone help us with a snow blower please? We could pay for the service.
