How to Use the Site

Looking for help?

You’ve come to the right place—and we’ll do our best to help. Snow Angels Canada is a simple tool to connect those in need of snow shoveling assistance with volunteers willing to lend a hand.

Please note: requests cannot be made by email. The only way to request help is through this website.

There are two ways to get help:

1. Create a Post

Register at www.snowangelscanada.ca, then go to the My Posts section to add a request.
Provide brief details about what needs to be shoveled. You can post on behalf of yourself, a neighbour, friend, or family member. Keep your message general—specifics can be shared later if a volunteer contacts you.

The person who registers will receive the initial email from the volunteer and coordinate the arrangements directly.

2. Search for Volunteers

Instead of waiting, you can take the initiative. Go to Find Volunteers, enter your postal code and adjust the distance filter to browse available volunteers near your location.
Once you find someone, send them a message through the website—they’ll receive it by email, and you can coordinate from there.

ℹ️ All communication after the first message happens by email between you and the volunteer.

Looking to volunteer?

First and foremost—thank you. Your willingness to help is what makes Snow Angels Canada work.

There’s just one step to get started:

1. Register as a Volunteer

Sign up at www.snowangelscanada.ca. Once you log in, you’ll see a map and a list of nearby requests from people who need snow shoveling help.

From there, it’s simple:
Find someone near you and send them a message through the website. They’ll receive it by email, and any further communication happens directly between you and the person requesting help.

⚠️ Snow Angels Canada doesn’t manage or assign volunteers—we just connect neighbours. You decide when, where, and how you help.

Stay warm and all the best!
